John is a Group Creative Strategy Director within TikTok's Creative Lab where he helps brands adopt innovative approaches to marketing. Prior to TikTok, John spent the past 12 years in Chicago helping strengthen agencies and rebrand companies within the retail, automotive, CPG, hospitality, finance, and tech industries. Before heading to Chicago, John worked for Fallon in Minneapolis and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco. He has been fortunate enough to receive multiple One Show Pencils and a number of other creative awards along the way. John dedicates a lot of time to his abundantly talented wife and their three children, making cardboard forts out of Amazon boxes and playing music. For fun, he spends time navigating the return to work policy and debating the open floor plan business model.
